About our DJ school
DJ Lab is a school established in 2012 that focuses on developing DJ skills and preparing professional performers.
Over the years, hundreds of students – both young and adult – have studied with us, finding their way to music and the stage. Our goal is to help build the skills and knowledge needed to mix different music styles with quality and creativity, using professional DJ equipment.
Individual lessons take place in specially equipped studio rooms, with the schedule arranged in advance.
The learning process is flexible and adaptable to each student. We do not give grades, but every course ends with a practical exam that helps to reinforce the acquired skills.

FOUNDER
Daniil Avakjan
The company was founded in 2006.
Head of the DJ LAB school since 2012.
He has extensive experience in the field of professional lighting, sound, and video technology since 1992. The idea to create DJ LAB school did not come by chance; for a long time, I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring DJs, to create a warm, cozy, and atmospheric place where it is pleasant to come, where you can not only gain new knowledge and practical experience with the most modern DJ equipment but also meet new friends, be among like-minded people who love music and have a positive attitude towards life.
The fact that DJ LAB is thriving, bringing joy to the participants in our movement, and constantly attracting new people of different ages shows that this is the right path!

MENTOR
Sunny Dee / Mihkel
Sunny Dee, known as Mihkel Lillenthal, was born in Tallinn in 1984. At a young age, he showed great interest in music. His career began in 1998. In 2004, he started producing his own music.
He has been a key figure in the development of the local hard dance music scene. Sunny Dee's work has been released by various international record labels such as LNG Music Australia, Kontor Records, Specter Records, and Lucky 8 Entertainment.
In addition to his professional DJ career, he is also one of the founders of the radio station Hard FM and the event series Hard Nation. Sunny Dee has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Brennan Heart, Headhunterz, Zatox, The Prophet, Frontliner, Angerfist, Psyko Punkz, Atmozfears, Toneshifterz, Technoboy, Tatanka, Ran-D, Coone, Da Tweekaz, Showtek, Scooter, Benny Benassi, Pendulum, ATB, Tiesto, and many others.

DJ DropWave / Andrei
DJ DropWave is the instructor of DJ courses: Basic, Intermediate, Vinyl, Scratch, Digital Vinyl.
DJ DropWave started his DJ career in 2013. In 2014, he successfully completed the basic and advanced courses with distinction, and in 2017, he finished the vinyl DJing course. During this time, he has played at numerous clubs in Tallinn, such as Kolm, Poseidon, LAIF, Ibiza. He has also performed at weddings, corporate events, and various other occasions.
DJ DropWave is not only an experienced DJ but also an excellent teacher.
MENTOR
Miss Kriss
Miss Kriss is an experienced DJ with hundreds of performances to her name. Her stage presence, warm energy, and deep musical intuition have made her a well-loved figure in the Estonian DJ scene.
At DJ Lab, she teaches the kids’ course, blending professional DJ skills with creativity and playfulness. In her classes, children explore the world of music, develop rhythm and focus, and build confidence on stage. She creates a safe and inspiring environment where every young DJ can express themselves freely.
Classes are held in Estonian, English, and Russian.
